| Description | The Alertus desktop client is a companion product to the UMBC E2Campus alert system. It can be installed on your Windows or Apple machine to provide an additional layer of notification. Messages sent via the E2Campus text messaging system will also be sent to any machine that has the Alertus desktop client installed. Questions about emergency notifications should be directed to the campus police department. |

- 1 Meg of disk space
Windows - Windows XP operating system or greater with the .NET 2.0 Framework (or greater) installed
- ~7 Mbs of free hard disk space
- Access to a user account with administrative rights that will be used to install the application
