Description: The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration's (MDOT SHA) Office of Administration (Baltimore City) is recruiting for two contractual Program Manager (Administrator I) positions located in the Organizational Development Division. These positions are open to anyone who meets the minimum and selective qualifications listed below.
Nature of Work: The Program Manager will develop and deliver training classes and programs, conduct and analyze training surveys, implement curriculum and course development and design. This position will utilize knowledge of adult learning theories, techniques and principles to evaluate current training programs, re-engineer programs, and/or develop new programs. The Program Manager will assist management in short and long-term training plans. This position will also make recommendations for process improvements in training delivery, training programs, and course offerings and apply the latest training and development trends.
Qualifications
Education: A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Four (4) years of experience in administrative or professional work.
Selective Qualification: Two (2) years of experience designing, developing and implementing online and instructor-led training.
