Position: Talent Development Manager

Description: We are looking for a Talent Development Manager who will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering effective talent growth strategies, professional development programs and learning processes that build talent pipeline and align with the enterprise-wide talent development strategy.

Duties: 

  • Develops and deploys enterprise-wide leadership development programs with a focus on inclusive leadership and provides a high level of customer service with implementation and support of those programs.

  • Provides recommendations on learning strategy based on evaluation of internal resources such as themes from engagement survey results, IDP themes, exit interview trends, needs assessments and feedback from leadership.

  • Designs, develops and delivers multi-media training materials (print, classroom and web-based) to support field training programs for participants and facilitators. Materials should use solid instructional design methodology including active learning, job aids, assessments, competency-based evaluations and incorporate adult learning principles.

  • Partners with Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging team and Erickson University Advisory Council to ensure learning content promotes One Team behaviors and inclusive leadership competencies.

  • Conducts on-site instruction, and virtual sessions, for development programs at both Erickson Senior Living communities and corporate offices.

  • Partners with Talent Acquisition to identify opportunities to improve the organizations ability to leverage the internal talent pool and drive critical role fill rate.

  • Maintains Erickson University by leading the creation of a flexible and responsive learning platform that offers programs and learning experiences that meet business objectives. May perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Organizational Development, Organizational Behaviors, Human Resources Management or other business-related field.

  • 5-8 years of experience in talent development program design, development and delivery.

  • Experience leading and driving leadership development programs across diverse and enterprise-wide audiences

  • Experience with evaluation methodologies, analytics and reporting.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects including developing project plans, communicating changes and progress, and completing projects on time and within budget.

  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP or ATD certification a plus.

  • Additional travel up to 20% may be required.
