HealthHIV is exploring developing an internal training category to support Onboarding new employees and skill development on the topics and tools in use by the organization. The instructional design intern may contribute to the courses offered by conducting a needs assessment, meeting with subject matter experts (SME’s) to create a learning plan, and creating content for the Moodle platform for the benefit of HealthHIV staff.

Coursework that is offered can be improved and revised for engagement, learner retention, and accessibility. The instructional design intern may be asked to conduct reviews of the course content already in the Moodle system, make suggestions of improvements to the courses, and to design improvements to engage learners, increase accessibility, and improve the educational offerings of HealthHIV.
Course Development – Grant Funded Projects
