The Adobe Creative Cloud license is only available to active UMBC employees (access will no longer be available upon leaving UMBC employment). The Adobe Creative Cloud is downloaded directly from Adobe's website. Regarding Adobe apps on mobile devices: Although this page is meant for Adobe desktop apps, there is a limited selection of Adobe apps and features available for mobile devices (like desktop apps, mobile apps require your UMBC email address to license). Please go here to see what mobile apps are available and read the Adobe mobile apps FAQ for more information.
To avoid install issues, please sign in to the Creative Cloud desktop app exactly as explained in the instructions below (refer to Section B of the Adobe Creative Cloud installation troubleshooting guide if you experience any install issues). Don't sign in to the Creative Cloud desktop app through Continue with Google, Continue with Facebook, or Continue with Apple as doing so will only give you access to trial versions of Adobe apps until you sign in correctly. Also make sure to use your default UMBC email address when you sign in to the Creative Cloud desktop app since signing in using email aliases will either fail the sign in process or only give you access to trial versions of apps.
To download and install Adobe Creative Cloud apps on your computer, carefully read the following:
- Follow these instructions to download and install the Creative Cloud desktop app.
- Sign in to the Creative Cloud desktop app by typing in your UMBC email address, click Continue, click Company or School Account, and then log in to myUMBC.
- Choose the apps you want to install.
