Previously, moderators or presenters sharing a file or an application could not see new chat messages. This is because the Class Collaborate Ultra application was minimized, so moderators and/or presenters missed new chat messages.

Moderators and/or presenters can now enable browser chat to push notifications to alert them to new chat messages in the session, even while the application is minimized.

  1. Open the Collaborate panel by clicking on the purple arrows in the lower right corner of the Class Collaborate session.



  2. Select Settings.



  3. Expand the Notifications section.



  4. Check the box for browser pop-up notifications.

    Your browser may request permission to send you notifications. Please accept if you wish to use this setting.


  5. Close the Class Collaborate panel.
