Currently, the best way to get Original tests into Ultra is using the Question Pools import. However, many Original tests exist without a corresponding question pool. This FAQ will show you how to create the Original question pool for importing into Ultra.

Tell Me

  1. Go to your Original course where the test(s) reside.
  2. Access the Control Panel → Tests, Surveys, and Pools.



  3. At the next screen, select Pools.
  4. On the Pools page, click Build Pool.



  5. Enter a name for the question pool. It may or may not correspond to a specific test – that is up to you.
  6. Click SUBMIT.

  7. At the next screen, click Find Questions.



  8. A pop-up window will open.

  9. Click Tests under the Browse Criteria to identify a specific test you want to add to the question pool. You can also filter questions to specific types.



  10. Check the box next to a specific test to view its questions.



  11. Check the box next to a specific question to select it and add it to the pool. If you want to select all questions, click the box at the top of the table fo questions.



  12. When you are finished choosing questions, click OK to exit and automatically close the question selection panel. 
  13. On the Pools page, click the action arrow for your newly created question pool.
  14. Select Export to Local Computer.
